The application window for NEET UG 2025 is now open, and candidates can register at neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is March 7.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the exam date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 on Friday (February 7). As per the NEET UG 2025 exam calendar, the exam will take place on May 4, from 2 PM to 5 PM, in a pen-and-paper format.
The application window for NEET UG 2025 is now open, and candidates can register at neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is March 7, while the correction window will be available from March 9 to March 11 for any necessary edits.
As the sole entrance exam for undergraduate medical and allied courses in India, NEET UG remains a crucial gateway for aspiring doctors. According to the official notification, results for NEET UG 2025 will be declared by June 14, 2025.
The NEET UG 2025 paper will now consist of 180 compulsory questions—45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has scrapped the optional questions in Section B for NEET UG 2025, bringing the exam back to its pre-COVID format. Candidates appearing for NEET UG 2025 will no longer have extra time or optional questions, which were introduced as a temporary measure during the pandemic.
Additionally, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. –Agencies
