The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has extended the last date for submitting online applications for 575 Lecturer posts in the School Education Department. Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

Age Limit (As of 1st January 2024)

• Open Merit: Born between 1st January 1984 and 1st January 2006

• Reserved Categories: Born between 1st January 1981 and 1st January 2006 

• In-Service Candidates: Same as Open Merit  

• Physically Handicapped: Born between 1st January 1982 and 1st January 2006 

Additionally, candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate for Jammu & Kashmir.

Out of 575 total vacancies, reserved posts are distributed as follows:  

• Open Merit (OM): 238  

• Residents of Backward Areas (RBA): 53  

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 51  

• Scheduled Tribes (ST): 117  

• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 48

2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already done.

5. Pay the application fee:  

• General Category: ₹1200
