Kashmir University Announces Winter Break for Main and Satellite Campuses

Srinagar: The University of Kashmir (KU) has announced winter vacations for its main and satellite campuses from January 1, 2025, to February 23, 2025.

KU’s Joint Registrar, in an official notification, said, “The teaching departments of the university and its satellite campuses shall observe winter vacations from January 1, 2025, to February 23, 2025.”

The notification further clarified that departmental offices will remain functional during the break. Heads, directors, and coordinators of departments, satellite campuses, and centres have been instructed to ensure that any scheduled examinations or other activities are conducted as planned.

Additionally, the notification emphasised that remedial classes, either offline or online, will be organised by departments to cover any remaining syllabus during the winter break. —(KNO)
