The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the tentative schedule for registrations and entrance exams for various professional courses for the academic session 2025-26. The notification includes details about course eligibility, seat intake, and the timeline for exams. Here's everything you need to know:  

Key Highlights:  

• Online Application Start Date: Tentatively March 2025 for most courses. 

• Entrance Exam Dates:Scheduled between April and June 2025 (varies by course).  

• Seat Intake: Courses include government and private institutions with specific seat distributions.  

• Eligibility Criteria: Varies by course (10th/12th with PCB/PCM, graduation, NEET qualification).  

List of Professional Courses:  

1. B.Ed. (Kashmir & Jammu):

• Seats: 330 in government institutions.  

• Eligibility: Graduation.  

• Course Duration: 2 years.  

2. B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical & Technology:

• Seats: 2,674 for nursing, 1,760 for paramedical, 78 for technology.  

• Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB.  

• Course Duration: 4 years (B.Sc. Nursing), 3 years (Technology).  

3. Pharmacy (B.Pharm & D.Pharm):

• Seats: 373 (B.Pharm), 1,080 (D.Pharm).  

• Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB/PCM.  

• Course Duration: 4 years (B.Pharm), 2 years (D.Pharm).  

4. GNM & ANM Nursing Courses:

• Seats: 4,136 (GNM), 110 (ANM).  

• Eligibility: 10+2.  

• Course Duration: 3 years (GNM), 2 years (ANM).  

5. Engineering (B.E/B.Tech):

• Seats: 2,462 across government and private institutions.  

• Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM.  

• Course Duration: 4 years.  

6. Medical Courses (MBBS, BDS, AYUSH):

• Seats: 1,107 (MBBS), 108 (BDS), AYUSH courses also included.  

• Eligibility: 10+2 with PCB and NEET qualification.  

• Course Duration: 5 years.  

7. Other Courses:

• M.Sc. Nursing & Technology: 2 years (Eligibility: B.Sc. Nursing/Technology).  

• Paramedical Diploma: 2 years (Eligibility: 10+2).  

• Architecture (B.Arch): 5 years (Eligibility: Aptitude Test by NTA/NATA).
