JKBOSE Announces Examination & Registration Renewal Process for Classes 10th, 11th & 12th (Session 2025)

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released an important notification regarding the submission of examination and registration return/renewal forms for the upcoming Annual Regular Session 2025. This applies to students of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

The notification follows the circular issued by the School Education Department regarding provisional affiliations for private schools that were previously tagged with nearby government schools. This provisional affiliation and relaxation is granted as a one-time exemption for the academic sessions 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Who is Eligible for the Examination and Registration Renewal?

According to the JKBOSE guidelines, the following categories of schools are eligible for the submission of examination forms and registration renewal for the academic sessions 2023-24 and 2024-25:

1. Schools operating on state land or involved in court cases related to state land, except for school-specific cases other than those governed by S.O 177.

2. Schools on proprietary land with deficiencies according to the norms set by the School Education Department and JKBOSE.

These schools have been granted temporary exemption to ensure that students can appear for exams and continue their education without interruption.

Key Dates & Application Process for Registration and Examination Forms

1. For Class 10th (Registration Returns for Session 2023-24):

• Online Application Dates: November 13, 2024, to November 18, 2024

• Fee: ₹2205 per student

2. For Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th (Examination Forms & Renewal of Registration):

• Offline Submission Dates: November 19, 2024, to November 22, 2024

• Fee Submission Deadline: November 25, 2024

Schools must collect the examination forms from eligible students and submit them to the respective JKBOSE branch, sub-office, or head office by the deadline. No extensions will be granted beyond the mentioned dates.

How to Submit the Forms Online & Offline

Step 1: Online Submission for Class 9 Students (Currently in Class 10)

• Visit the official JKBOSE website
• www.jkbose.nic.in.

• Navigate to the registration section and fill out the online form.

• Make the required payment of ₹2205 through available online payment methods (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking).

• Download the confirmation receipt for your records.

Step 2: Offline Submission for Classes 10th, 11th & 12th

• Schools will distribute and collect offline forms from students for exams and registration renewal.

• Fees must be collected from students and deposited in designated banks.

• Schools must submit the collected forms and fee receipts to JKBOSE by November 25, 2024.

Important Instructions for Schools & Students

1. No Extensions: The deadlines set by JKBOSE are final, and no extensions will be allowed.

2. Eligibility Confirmation: Only schools included in the official JKBOSE list (available on the JKBOSE website) can submit the forms.

3. Previous Notification: Other terms and conditions specified in the previous notification dated October 15, 2024, remain applicable.
