Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have passed at least the 12th grade from a recognized board or university. Verification of required documents will be mandatory upon qualifying for the SSC Stenographer 2024 Exam.
Age Requirements:
- Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old (born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2006).
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old (born between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2006).

How to Apply for SSC Stenographer 2024

2. Open the registration link for SSC Stenographer 2024.
3. Click on "New User/Register Now."
4. Enter your basic details such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
5. Verify and submit the online registration form to receive a Registration ID.
6. Log in with your Registration ID, date of birth, and password.
7. Upload the required photographs and signatures as per SSC guidelines.
8. Complete the payment process and save a copy of the submitted form for future reference.
Exam Pattern
The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) comprising four sections:
1. English Language and Comprehension
2. General Awareness
3. General Intelligence and Reasoning
The CBT consists of 200 questions, totaling 200 marks. There is a marking scheme of 1 mark per correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates must meet the cutoff marks in the CBT to proceed to the next stage.
