NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024 in response to a Supreme Court directive, today on July 25, 2025. This decision was made in response to an ambiguous Physics question, which resulted in a recalibration of the merit list.
Earlier on July 23, 2024, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the revised final result of NEET UG 2024 would be released within the next two days.
Initially, results announced on June 4 showed 67 students sharing the top rank.
However, the Supreme Court's intervention, based on an expert committee from IIT-Delhi, mandated the acceptance of only one correct option for the disputed question.
This adjustment in the NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024 will affect the scores of nearly 4.2 lakh students who had selected the previously accepted answer. As a result, the number of top scorers will reduce significantly, dropping from 61 (post-NTA withdrawal of grace marks) to an estimated 17.
