JKSSB Provisional Selection List 2024 for Sub-Inspector Posts in Finance Department Announced
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the provisional selection list for the posts of Sub-Inspector in the Finance Department. These posts were advertised vide Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020 under Item Nos. 118, 121, and 123. Selection Process Overview
The JKSSB received a requisition for 62 posts of Sub-Inspector from the Finance Department, as per Indent No. FD/Coord/08/2020 dated 20.11.2020. The essential qualification required was graduation from any recognized university. The cut-off date for applying and determining eligibility was 31.01.2021.
Written Examination and Document Verification
The OMR-based written examination for these posts was conducted on 10.03.2024. The result and score sheet were notified on 28.03.2024. Following this, document verification for candidates in the consideration zone took place from 08.04.2024 to 15.04.2024 in Jammu and Srinagar.
Provisional Selection List Preparation
A selection committee, constituted via Office Order No. 187-SSB of 2024 dated 14.05.2024, scrutinized the indent and advertisement, preparing the provisional selection list based on merit and eligibility. The provisional list was approved during the 277th JKSSB meeting held on 03.07.2024.
