Issuance of Admit Cards for Urdu Type Test and Urdu Short Hand Test
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a notice regarding the issuance of admit cards for the Urdu Type Test and Urdu Short Hand Test (Skill Test) for the posts of Urdu Typist, Urdu Stenographer, and Urdu Shorthand Instructor. The tests are scheduled to take place on 7th August 2024.

How to Download JKSSB Admit Card
Candidates can download their admit cards by following these steps:
1. Visit the official JKSSB website: www.jkssb.nic.in.
2. Click on the “Download E-Admit Card” option on the homepage.
3. Log in using your E-mail ID and Date of Birth.
4. Verify your details displayed on the screen.
5. Click on the "View and Print E-Admit Card" button.
6. Download and print your admit card.
Key Instructions for Candidates
1. Admit Card and ID Proof: Candidates must bring a printed copy of the admit card and a valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, or an ID card issued by a competent authority) to the examination center.
2. Entry Restrictions: Candidates will not be allowed entry without the admit card and valid ID proof.
3. Reporting Issues: For any issues related to downloading the admit card, candidates can contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or email helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com.
4. Multiple Admit Cards: Candidates who have applied for multiple posts must appear in the test with only one admit card. Appearing in multiple shifts will lead to disqualification.
5. No Re-tests: Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date will not be allowed to retake the test on any other date.
