JKBOSE Announces Offline Form Submission Schedule for Class 10th & 12th Annual (Private)/Bi-annual Exams 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the schedule for offline submission of Permission cum Examination Forms for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) for the Annual (Private)/Bi-annual 2024 sessions. This applies to both Hard Zone and Soft Zone areas of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Important Dates and Fees for Class 10th
The following details apply to candidates of the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th):
- Exam form Submission:
- Dates: From 4th July 2024 to 18th July 2024
- Fee: Rs. 1180 for re-appear/failure/Fresh Private candidates
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 1390
Late Submission (First Count of 10 Days):
- Dates: From 19th July 2024 to 28th July 2024
- Fee: Rs. 1950
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 2160
Late Submission (Second Count of 10 Days):
- Dates: From 29th July 2024 to 7th August 2024
- Fee: Rs. 3165
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 3375
Important Dates and Fees for Class 12th
The following details apply to candidates of Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th):
- Exam form Submission:
- Dates: From 4th July 2024 to 18th July 2024
- Fee: Rs. 1365 for re-appear/failure/Fresh Private candidates
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 1610
Late Submission (First Count of 10 Days):
- Dates: From 19th July 2024 to 28th July 2024
- Fee: Rs. 2135
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 2380
Late Submission (Second Count of 10 Days):
- Dates: From 29th July 2024 to 7th August 2024
- Fee: Rs. 3350
- Fee with Additional/Optional Subject(s): Rs. 3595
Eligibility Criteria
1. Fresh Private Candidates: Those who are otherwise eligible.
2. Reappear/Failure Candidates: Candidates from previous sessions must clear the examination within five years of their first reappear.
3. Additional/Optional Subjects: Candidates for additional subjects, English only, or completion categories for Class 10th.
4. Subject Change/Improvement: Candidates for subject change, additional subjects, English only, completion category, or performance improvement for Class 12th.
Guidelines for Heads of Institutions
1. Additional Fee: Rs. 10 per candidate is chargeable by the institution.
2. Disabled Candidates: Candidates with 40% or more disability are exempted from paying the examination fee.
3. Submission Deadline: If the last date falls on a holiday, the next working day is considered the deadline.
4. Enrollment Sheet: Register details of five candidates on each side.
5. Contact Information: Cell number of each candidate must be recorded.
6. Photographs: Affix latest digital colored photographs of each candidate.
7. Fee Deposit: Deposit the prescribed fee in designated J&K Bank Ltd branches.
8. Complete Documentation: Submit complete Permission Cum-Examination Forms with the statement of enrollment and Renewal Registration Return sent-up.
