JKSSB Releases Final Selection List for Deputy Inspector Posts in 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released the final selection list for the post of Deputy Inspector/Equivalent in the Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department. Requisition and Qualification Details
The JKSSB received a requisition for 15 posts of Deputy Inspector/Equivalent from the Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department on 04.04.2022. The required qualifications, as per the advertisement, include:
- B.F.Sc.
- B.Sc. Medical (Zoology)
- B.Sc. Industrial Fish & Fisheries from a recognized University/Institute
Examination and Document Verification
The OMR-based written examination for these posts was conducted on 03.03.2024. The results were notified on 14.03.2024, followed by a document verification process from 26.03.2024 to 02.04.2024.
Selection Process and Committee
A Selection Committee, constituted on 14.05.2024, meticulously scrutinized the candidates' merit and eligibility. The provisional selection list was then approved in the Board's 274th meeting held on 05.06.2024, and objections were invited.
Final Selection List Approval
After reviewing representations and verifying details, the final selection list was approved in the 276th meeting on 25.06.2024. This final selection list includes 15 candidates, with 04 cases withheld for various reasons.

2. Pending Enquiries: The list is also subject to the outcome of any ongoing enquiries involving candidates.
