JKBOPEE Releases Provisional Merit List for GNM Lateral Entry Course 2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the provisional merit list for the GNM Lateral Entry Course 2024. This list is for candidates who appeared in the Common Entrance Test held on June 9, 2024, in Srinagar and Jammu.

Exam and Results Announcement:

The Common Entrance Test for the GNM Lateral Entry (L.E) Course was conducted by JKBOPEE as per Notification No. 019-BOPEE of 2024 dated 23-04-2024, with further notices on 16-05-2024 and 03-06-2024. The provisional merit list includes results for all candidates who took the exam.

No Representations Against Answer Key:

JKBOPEE did not receive any representations against the answer key, which was uploaded on the official website on June 9, 2024. As a result, the provisional merit list was prepared accordingly.

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

In cases where two or more candidates obtained the same marks, the inter-se-merit was resolved by considering the candidates' dates of birth, with older candidates being preferred.

Steps for Candidates:

1. Objections and Re-totaling

• Candidates who have objections against their results can submit a written representation along with a payment receipt of Rs. 1000/- for re-totaling of marks. Representations must be submitted within three days of the notification being uploaded on the official website.

2. Pending Documents:

• Candidates with pending documents, such as reserved category certificates or domicile certificates, must submit them before the counseling date or at the time of admission, as notified by JKBOPEE.

3. Correction of Particulars:

• Candidates needing corrections in their particulars (name, parentage, date of birth, category certificate, gender) must visit the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar within five days of this notification.

4. Child of Defense Persons (CDP) Sub-Category:

• Candidates under the CDP sub-category must submit their priority certificates physically at the BOPEE office within five days of the notification.

5. New Reservation Policy:

• Following the issuance of S.O 176 on 15-03-2024 by the Social Welfare Department, candidates who need to change their category as per the new policy must submit their new category certificates within five days of this notification.
