CBSE 10th, 12th Compartment Exam 2024 to Begin on July 15, Date Sheet Released
This year 1,32,337 students of CBSE Board 10th and 1,22,170 students of class 12th have been placed in the compartment category.
CBSE has uploaded the final schedule of the 10th, and 12th compartment examinations 2024 on the official website at cbse.gov.in. The exams will commence on July 15, 2024, and will conclude on July 22. CBSE has released the date sheet after the list of candidates (LOC) was released. This year 1,32,337 students in CBSE Board 10th and 1,22,170 students in 12th have been placed in the compartment category.
The exam for most of the subjects of CBSE 10th will be conducted between 10:30 am to 1.30 pm. But on July 22, the exam for Computer Application and Information Technology will be held between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Compartmental exams for all subjects of CBSE 12th will be held on the same day, that is, July 15 between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. But the exams for Hindustani Music, Painting, Commercial Art, Kathak-Dance, Bharatnatyam-Dance, Odissi-Dance, Yoga, and Artificial Intelligence will be held between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Like the CBSE board exam, in the compartment exam, too, 15 minutes of reading time will be given to the students before the start of the exam. During this time, students can understand the question paper by reading it thoroughly. This will give them an idea of how many questions they know the answers to and how much time each section will take.
To appear for the CBSE Board Compartment Exam, schools will have to submit LOC through the Exam Sangam link. CBSE has clarified in an official notice that only those students whose names have been submitted through the online process will be able to appear for the supplementary examination, in 2024. Students who appeared for the 2024 board examination in regular mode and have been placed in the ‘compartment’ category should contact the school from where they appeared for the exam. (News18)
