JKBOSE Notice: Correction Window Open for Class 9th Session 2022-24
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a crucial notification, addressing the need for corrections in the registered particulars of Class 9th students for the session 2022-24. This notification, in continuation of previous communications, serves as a reminder to all affiliated Government and Private High/Higher Secondary institutions falling under Jammu Division, including Leh.
In accordance with Notifications No. F(Regn-B/Corr./SZ/th/JD/23 dated 28-03-2023, F(Regn- Bj/Cor/Sth/JD/23 dated 30-09-2023, F(Regn-8)/Corr./9th/JD/23 dated 29-11-2023, and F(Regn- B/Corr/9th/JD/24 dated 08-01-2024, institutions are urged to apply for corrections, if any, in the registered particulars recorded in the Registration Return. This process specifically relates to students of Class 9th who are slated to appear in the Class 10 examination during the Annual Regular Session of 2024, JD.
To facilitate this correction process, a penalty of Rs.2000/- per candidate will be applicable from 31-01-2024 to 10-02-2024. Institutions are instructed to submit the correction cases, accompanied by the necessary supporting documents, including the original Class 8 marks card checklist mentioning R.R Nos. This submission should be made to the Divisional office and the respective Sub/Branch offices through offline mode, as detailed in Annexure 'A' attached to this notification.
The Assistant Secretary/s/Incharge Officers of Sub/Branch Office of JKBOSE are entrusted with the responsibility of consolidating, verifying, and forwarding all eligible cases to the R.R Section, JD in hard copy, strictly following the guidelines outlined in Annexure-A.
