JKSSB Sub-Inspector CBT Exam Result - Shortlisted Candidates for PST/PET
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the Sub-Inspector positions in the Home Department. The much-anticipated results are here, and it's time to get ready for the next phase.
Here's what you need to know:
- Exam Period: The CBT took place from 7th to 20th December 2022.
- Result Announcement: The result and scoresheet for this examination were officially announced on 3rd November 2023.
Selection Process:
Based on the guidelines set by the Home Department, candidates selected for the Physical Standard Test (PST) must be six times the total number of vacancies in each category. These candidates will then undergo the Physical Endurance Test (PET) according to the standards provided.
The list of candidates falling within the consideration zone for the Sub-Inspector posts and shortlisted for PST/PET can be found in Annexure "A" of the official notification.
What's Next:
While being called for the PST/PET is a significant step, it's essential to remember that this doesn't guarantee selection. Candidates must meet all other eligibility conditions as set by the Board, and the Board's decision in this regard is considered final.
The PST/PET tests are of qualifying nature, which means you need to meet the specified standards to move forward in the selection process.
