JKBOPEE MBBS/BDS/DDM/DDH Courses 2023: Provisional Selection List after Second Round Counselling
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the provisional selection list for admission to MBBS, BDS, DDM, and DDH courses for the year 2023. This list comes after the second round of counseling, which took place physically from August 28, 2023, to August 30, 2023.
In accordance with Notification No. 070-BOPEE of 2023 dated August 26, 2023, this selection process has been conducted meticulously. The list includes candidates who have been provisionally upgraded or allotted seats for the MBBS, BDS, DDM, and DDH courses in various Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
For those who were eagerly awaiting their results, this is a significant development. Additionally, the list of candidates falling under the CDP category, which was temporarily on hold as per Notification No. 057-BOPEE of 2023 dated August 11, 2023, has also been finalized based on Merit-cum-Preferences and the revised/amended priorities provided by the Board.
Candidates who find their names on the provisional selection list are required to report to their allotted colleges between September 2, 2023, and September 6, 2023. It's crucial that they bring along the following original documents for admission:
1. Date of Birth Certificate
2. 10+2 Marks Card
3. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K or ST Certificate for candidates from UT of Ladakh
4. Category Certificate, if applicable
5. Valid Income Certificate for eligible categories
6. HM / NRI Certificate, where applicable
7. Any other certificates as requested by the College Authorities
It's mandatory for provisionally selected candidates to report for admission by or before 4:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023. Failure to do so will make them ineligible for any further rounds of counseling, if conducted.
Colleges must also submit any shortfalls by 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023, to facilitate necessary actions by the Board.
The Board emphasizes that all institutions and colleges should release documents and refund fees for candidates who have been upgraded to help them complete the admission process without difficulty. Institutions are also encouraged to keep their admission counters open on holidays to assist candidates in a timely manner.
It's important to note that admission is provisional and may be canceled if any information provided by a candidate is found to be false or fabricated. Institutions are urged to verify the authenticity of documents, especially Category Certificates.
The Board is committed to ensuring the integrity of the examination process and has taken strict actions in response to irregularities. The Agency responsible for conducting these examinations has been blacklisted/debarred for a specific period due to its failure to maintain the sanctity and security of the examination process.
Candidates should complete their admission formalities well within the prescribed timeline to avoid any complications. The Board will continue to uphold the highest standards of fairness and transparency in the admission process.
