Kashmir University Updated Selection Notification No. 12 of 2023 for PG and 3-Year LL.B. Programmes (Self-Finance Quota)

The university has released an updated selection notification, No. 12 of 2023, outlining the provisionally selected candidates based on their merit in the Kashmir University Entrance Test-2023 and their preference during the online application submission.
Important Details:
Candidates, if your particulars are mentioned in the notification, this is the moment you've been waiting for! You have been selected provisionally for admission. However, remember that this provisional status comes with certain conditions that need to be met to secure your place.
Eligibility Verification:
The Head/Director/Principals of the concerned Department/Campus/affiliated Colleges, acting as the Chairman of the Departmental Admission Committee, will verify that all the selected candidates possess the required minimum eligibility and have passed their qualifying examination or hold a category certificate (if chosen under any reserved category). The authenticity of original documents/certificates will be verified.
Please note, no authority slip will be provided to candidates who are ineligible, including those who passed their qualifying examination or received their category certificate after the specified date of 10-05-2023.
Admission Requirements:
The admission process has a few key steps that the provisionally selected candidates need to follow:
1. Presentation of relevant original documents, including Marks Cards of the qualifying examination, Character and Provisional certificates of the last attended Institution, and Migration Certificate.
2. Submission of eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form, where applicable, along with the prescribed fee.
3. Fulfillment of minimum eligibility conditions as verified by the concerned Department.
4. Clearance from the Academic Section for candidates who obtained their qualifications from private/affiliated Universities/Institutions.
5. NOC from the concerned Department for In-service candidates.
6. Submission of a sworn affidavit before a 1st Class Judicial/Executive Magistrate affirming adherence to university rules, genuine certificates/documents, and understanding of consequences for any misinformation or indiscipline.
Admission Form Submission:
Provisionally selected candidates need to download their online Admission Forms from the official University of Kashmir website using their Entrance Test No. Before depositing the Admission Fee, candidates must visit the Head/Director/Principal of the concerned Campus/College with all relevant original certificates and self-attested Xerox copies to obtain an authority slip for fee payment. This process will take place from 23-08-2023 to 29-08-2023 (working days only).
After the fee is deposited, candidates should submit the fee receipt, admission form, and related documents to the respective Departments/Institutions/ Campus by or before 29-08-2023. Keep in mind that the fee can be accepted only at any FINACLE branch of J&K Bank upon presentation of the authority slip.
Failure to complete admission formalities by the specified date will result in forfeiture of admission rights, and any resulting vacancies will be filled from the waiting list. The Director/Principals are requested to submit any vacancy lists by 05:15 PM on the last day for admission formalities.
