JKBOPEE Provisional Selection List 2023: B.E./B.Tech. Engineering Courses After Second Round Up-gradation/Allotment Counselling
The JKBOPEE (Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations) has released the provisional selection list of candidates for admission to B.E./B.Tech. (Engineering) courses for the year 2023 in Government/Private Engineering Colleges of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This selection has been made after the Second Round (Physical) Up-gradation/Allotment counselling conducted from 23rd to 25th August 2023.
The list of candidates provisionally selected for Up-gradation/Allotment of Stream/Institution based on their merit and preference has been announced and can be accessed in Annexure-A of the official notification. To view this list, candidates can visit the official BOPEE website at www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Candidates who have been provisionally selected for Up-gradation/Allotment are required to report to the allotted College/Institution by or before 5th September 2023, no later than 4:00 pm. They must bring along their original relevant certificates for verification. The admission process will be completed by the concerned Heads of Institutions after ensuring the eligibility of candidates and verifying required documents, including Domicile Certificate, 12th Class Marks Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Category Certificate (if applicable), ID Card, and any other document specified by the respective College/Institution.
Some key points to note:
1. Timely Admission: Heads of Institutions/Colleges are advised to facilitate the admission process for upgraded candidates, releasing documents and refunding fees as necessary, to ensure a smooth completion of the admission process within the cutoff date (5th September 2023).
2. Accessible Admission: Institutions/Colleges are requested to keep admission counters open on holidays and off days, allowing candidates to complete their admission process in a timely manner.
3. Cancellation of Selection/Admission: Candidates found to have concealed any information may face the cancellation of their selection/admission, along with possible fines/penalties according to board rules.
4. Mandatory Upgraded Seat Acceptance: Candidates who have been upgraded during the Second Round of Counselling must join against the Upgraded Seat/College, failing which they won't be eligible for further rounds of counselling conducted by the Board.
In case of any candidates failing to complete their admission within the stipulated time, the Heads of Institutions are required to inform the Board about the shortfall via email. The concerned information should be sent to coejakbopee@gmail.com and helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com by 5th September 2023, 5:00 pm, accompanied by a hard copy duly signed by the Head of the Institution.
