JKBOPEE GNM Lateral Entry Course 2023: Provisional Selection List & Admission Details
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced an important update regarding the admission process for the GNM (Lateral Entry) Course 2023 in various Government and Private Colleges of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. In continuation of Notification No.056-BOPEE of 2023 dated 10.08.2023, the Board has released the Provisional Selection List of candidates based on merit and preferences exercised during the physical counseling. Here's all you need to know about the selection process and subsequent steps:
Notification Details:
Consequent upon the declaration of the GNM Lateral Entry Course-2023 result by the J&K BOPEE via Notification No.056-BOPEE of 2023 dated 10.08.2023, the Board notified to conduct the Physical
counseling of the eligible candidates for admission to the said course w.e.f. 17.08.2023 to 19-08-2023.
Provisional Selection List:
After conducting physical counseling at BOPEE Offices in Srinagar and Jammu, the list of candidates provisionally selected for admission to the GNM (Lateral Entry) Course 2023 has been published. The selection is based on the Merit-cum-Preferences preferred by the candidates during the counseling. The list can be accessed on the official website of the Board, www.jkbopee.gov.in.
Admission Schedule:
Selected candidates are advised to report to their respective allotted Colleges/Institutions from 22.08.2023 to 28.08.2023 until 04.00 p.m. for document verification and completion of admission formalities. The following documents in original are required for admission:
1. Marks Card of FMPHW/MMPHW/ANM.
2. D.O.B Certificate (10th Class).
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Category Certificate (if applicable).
5. Medical Fitness Certificate.
6. Any other document as required by the college authorities.
Important Notes:
- - Candidates allotted Government/Private Colleges must join their allotted College/Seat(s) positively by 28.08.2023 until 04.00 p.m. Failure to do so will make them ineligible for the 2nd Round of counseling for up-gradation/allotment.
- - The Colleges/Institutions must ensure proper document verification and eligibility as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) Guidelines before allowing admission.
- - Unfilled/vacant seats will be communicated to the Board by the concerned Colleges/Institutions on 29.08.2023, and these seats will be filled during the 2nd round of counseling.
- - Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria as per INC Guidelines, and any false/fabricated information may lead to admission cancellation.
