Central University of Kashmir Counselling Notice: M.Sc. Biotechnology 2023 Lateral Entry

Counselling Details:
Date: 28th August 2023
Time: 10:00 am to 04:30 pm (offline and online mode)
In-Person Counselling:
For candidates attending counselling in person at the Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Kashmir's Science campus in Ganderbal, you're required to bring the following documents:
- - CUET-2023 Admit card and Score card.
- - Qualifying examination marks sheets (Including Graduation marks sheet) & valid category certificate issued by the competent authority as per Government of India norms.
- - Original and self-attested photocopies of Provisional/Character Certificate.
- - General category candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates) in qualifying examinations.
- - Passport size photographs (4 photographs).
Online Counselling:
For outstation candidates attending counselling online, please ensure you email all required documents in a single PDF file to biotechnologycuk@gmail.com.
Key Points to Remember:
1. Participation in counselling does not guarantee admission. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria.
2. The selection list will be based solely on merit.
3. OBC category candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer and must submit the certificate in the prescribed GOI format.
4. No reservation for RBA, Social caste, NCC, or sports category candidates at CUK.
5. Admissions are provisional, subject to eligibility verification and document submission.
6. If a candidate from SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD category qualifies under the General category, they'll be adjusted against a General category seat.
7. Only candidates who have completed their qualifying degrees by or before the counselling date will be considered.
8. Candidates from Ganderbal district applying for the supernumerary seat must bring the Permanent Resident certificate/Domicile certificate.
9. Failure to attend counselling or provide relevant documents will result in ineligibility for admission.
Admission Form and Anti-Ragging:
Selected candidates need to download their admission forms from the university's official website. The anti-ragging form available on www.ugc.ac.in & www.antiragging.in must be filled and the application code written on the admission form.
