Central University of Kashmir: Job Openings for Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors in Multiple Disciplines
The Central University of Kashmir, Green Campus Ganderbal, has issued a notification for the recruitment of 15 Professors, 36 Associate Professors, and 38 Assistant Professors across various fields. Interested candidates can access the online application form through the CU-Chayan portal link. The deadline for submitting the online application and fees is September 21, 2023. Alternatively, the downloaded application form, accompanied by necessary documents, should be submitted by September 29, 2023.
The recruitment process is open to eligible Indian citizens and overseas citizens of India (OCIs), following the latest UGC regulations.
For the role of Professors, candidates should hold a PhD in the relevant discipline, possess a minimum of ten research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and have a decade of teaching experience at the university or college level. Associate Professors require a PhD in the relevant field with at least 55 percent in their Master's degree, eight years of teaching experience, and a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Assistant Professors need a Master's or Doctorate degree along with a NET qualification in the pertinent disciplines.
Certain modifications will apply to specific disciplines (Management Studies, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Teacher Education).
It's worth noting that the previously advertised teaching positions, as per advertisement No. 03 of 2022 dated 07-05-2022, have been withdrawn due to administrative reasons. Applicants who responded to that advertisement need to reapply.
