Essential Qualifications
1. Legal Assistant
- L.L.B (3-year) Professional Degree/BA-LLB (5-year integrated degree) through regular mode with 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute.
- Three years of active practice at the Bar certified by the Principal District & Sessions Judge concerned.
2. Junior Professional Assistant
- Bachelor's in Library & Information Science (BLIS)/B.Lib or an equivalent degree with 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
- Or, Master's in Library & Information Science (MLIS)/M.Lib or an equivalent degree with 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
3. Liaison Officer
- Master's Degree in any discipline with 55% marks or equivalent grade/degree from a recognized University/Institute.

3. Register yourself and remember the Username and Password for future reference.
4. Use a valid Email ID and mobile number during the registration process.
5. Login using your Username and Password after successful registration.
6. Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, experience, etc. Preview the form and submit.
7. Pay the Application Fee of Rs. 550 (Online mode) for both open and reserved categories.
Other Terms and Conditions
- Reservation as per the provision of S.O. 127 dated 20.04.2020 issued by the Govt of UT Jammu & Kashmir.
- 4% horizontal reservation for Physically Handicapped Category candidates.
- Application forms found incomplete will be rejected without notice.
- No age bar for in-service candidates of the University of Kashmir.
- Application of Government servants and University Employees should be routed through the respective authorities.
- The fee once paid will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances.
- The appointment shall be governed by the rules & regulations of the State/UT Government/University.
