ACR Leh stresses to ensure smooth conduct of UPSC EPFO/EO/APFC exam in Leh
Leh, July 01: On the directions given by ADC Leh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shabir Hussain convened a meeting to review the preparation regarding the conduct of the UPSC EPFO/EO/APFC Examination 2023, scheduled to be held on July 2 (Sunday) at Leh, in the presence Deputy Secretary, UPSC, Manoj Kumar Sharma.
It was informed that UPSC EPFO/EO/APFC Examination 2023 would be conducted at three centers in Leh viz. Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Government Boys Higher Secondary School. A total of 462 candidates will be sitting for the examination and it will be held in two sessions.
Deputy Director, Employment, Delex Namgyal briefed in detail on the role and responsibilities of the exam functionaries, including coordinating supervisor, assistant coordinating supervisor, venue supervisors, local inspecting officers, invigilators, police, and postal department. He further directed the officials to ensure timely entry and exit of candidates, sitting arrangements, the safe storage and handling of the question booklets and OMR answer sheets along with the deployment of security.
Deputy Secretary UPSC instructed the officials to ensure that all necessary arrangements are done and nothing should be left for tomorrow. He further directed the exam functionaries to be well aware of their roles and to ensure that any discrepancy hindering the smooth and successful conduct of the said examination is avoided while duly performing their duties.
Deputy Superintendent (HQ), Officials from various departments, Venue supervisors, Assistant Venue Supervisors, and Invigilators attended the meeting.
