Class 10th student from Anantnag publishes maiden poetry book

Anantnag, Apr 14: A 14-year-old girl from Anantnag district has published her maiden poetry book.

Sania Farooq, a resident of Bangedar area of Anantnag a student of class 10th at EFF EMM School Anantnag published her book titled "Akas-e-Hayat" in which she has talked about different issues of society.

Sania told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that she was interested in writing since her childhood and started writing when she was in class 8.

"I got inspired by the poetry of Dr Iqbal.

Akaash-e-Hayat consists of around 100 pages with dozens of poems in which different issues of the society, especially the issues and challenges that a woman faces have been talked about, Sania said.

“My aim in life is to become an IAS officer. My family has been very supportive and one of my teachers, Azhar sahib has supported me in compiling this book,” she said—(KNO)
