From working as a receptionist to becoming an IPS officer, IPS Pooja Yadav is indeed an inspiration for all those who are aspiring to achieve big in life and serve the country. Born in Haryana, Pooja attended school in her hometown and later did her M.Tech. With limited resources from her family, Pooja had to work as a receptionist and take tuition to cover her expenditure for M. Tech.
As per a report in DNA India, After completing her M. Tech, she moved to Canada hoping for a steady and respectable income. However, after working for a few years in Canada, she then relocated to Germany. After years of struggle overseas, she finally started earning a decent salary and was well-settled.However, she had the urge to work for the people of the nation and do something for the country. After understanding her passion, she left her job in Germany and returned to India to begin preparing for the Civil Services Examination.However, she couldn’t clear the toughest exam in her first attempt. She was still confident that she would crack it and did not give up. This time, she put in more effort and her hard work finally paid off.
She secured an AIR 174 rank in her second attempt and made the country proud. Currently, posted in Gujarat, Pooja married 2016 batch IAS Officer Vikalp Bhardwaj in the year 2021. He was an officer in the Kerala cadre but moved to the Gujarat cadre after marrying Pooja.IPS Pooja Yadav is indeed an inspiration for all those who are aspiring to achieve big in life and serve the country.
