MeT Predicts Rain, Snow Likely in J&K
Srinagar, Jan 02 : The meteorological department of J&K on Monday said that there are chances of snow/rain in Jammu and Kashmir from 8-10 January.
An official of the MeT told The Kashmir Scroll that current weather is hazy in J&K and weather is likely to remain mainly clear till 6th December.
He said that expect further fall in minimum temperature across J&K and warmer days & colder nights.
On 7th January the weather is likely to remain cloudy and from 8-10th, the weather is likely to remain cloudy with possibility of snowfall/rain at many places of J&K(70% chance)
He said that FOG is likely to continue in plains of Jmu, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi etc. till 6th.
In view of re development of FOG in plains of North India, intending Air travellers are advised to plan for Afternoon Flights to avoid Delayed flights, he said. (KS)
