MeT Predicts Light to moderate rain/snow at scattered places likely from 26-30 December

Srinagar :- The meteorological department on Wednesday said that there are chances of light to moderate rains at scattered places in J&K from 26-30 December.

An official of MeT said that currently, weather is mainly clear at most places of J&K.

He said that mainly there will be dry weather till 25th, however, shallow FOG may develop at during morning hours in plains of Jammu during nxt 22-24th(60% chance).

He said that from 26-30th, generally Cloudy Sky with intermittent Light to Moderate Snow at scattered places of Kashmir, higher reaches of Jammu and light rain in plains of Jammu(60℅chance).

He said that Snowfall & below freezing temperature may led to temporary disruption of surface transportation on places like Mugal road, Zojila, Karna, Sadna top etc. during 26-27th, although there’s id O forecast of any Major snow spell. (Press Trust Of Kashmir) reports
