Kaisar Ahmad, A young self taught artist from North Kashmir

Handwara, 19 Dec : A young self taught artist from Handwara area of Kupwara is winning hearts of people through his art work.

Kaiser Rehman son fo Abdul Rehman a 11th class students of Government Boys’ Higher Secondary Handwara is a self taught sketch and calligraphy artist.

He said that he started making sketches when he was in 7th class and since then he has been working on pencil and pen art, poster colour art and projects such as wall painting, paper craft.

He claims that he has learned wall painting in the 10th class and has bagged first position in painting art at Srinagar division level and in Jammu in UT level competition.

He has not received any formal training in his art, he said “I have recently started a Facebook page ‘k.kaisar’s art Club’ where I showcase my art work” he said that he is getting good response from people .

He has also created a youtube channel “K.Kaisar’s Art Club” where he has more than eleven thousand subscribers, uploading videos of his art work there.

About family support, kaisar said “My parents have always supported him whether in his studies or in his art work, which he claims is his passion.

About future plans Kaisar said he want to continue his profession and take it higher level adding he said in future he wants to create something new that will be very different from other arts.—(KS)
