JKP Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Starts Today

Centres established in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions

Sub-Inspector, Finance Account Assistant exams, switched to computer-based mode

Srinagar-Dec 06:The examination for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police is starting from today i.e. Tuesday 6th December and the advisory has also been issued for the candidates appearing in the first phase of the examinations. Candidates appearing for the examination must reach the examination center by 8.30 am. The gate will close at 9.30. The exam will be held from 10 to 12 noon. Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic equipment like mobile phone, calculator etc.

According to CNI, the recruitment exam for Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector will be held on December 6. For this, examination centers have been established in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. This time it has been decided to conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for the first time, so that there will be transparency. Earlier the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) based exam was conducted. On 3rd December, the board has also uploaded the second phase admit cards on the site. After visiting the candidate site, enter your application number and password and submit. After that their admit card will be downloaded. The application number is available on the application form. Candidate should enter his date of birth instead of password. In the second step, the downloadable admit cards contain detailed instructions and other information related to the exam.

Candidates will go to the examination center only after reading the instructions carefully. Examination centers have been set up in both the divisions for the recruitment of 1200 posts of Police Sub Inspector. Examination centers have been set up at other places including Global Convent School in Jammu city. 

As per the instructions issued by the board, the admit card will be of two pages. Information regarding the examination center is given on the first page. There is other information on the next page. Candidates have to carry the scanned or photostate admit card to the examination center as per instructions. 

The examination will be conducted in two phases of the day. The time will be fixed on the candidate's admit card. He/she has to reach the exam center accordingly. No candidate will be allowed to enter after the stipulated time. It has been informed that the candidates appearing in the first phase examination have to reach the examination center by 8.30 am. The gate will close at 9.30. The exam will be conducted from 10 to 12 noon. 

The second phase examination will be held in the afternoon. Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination center without admit card and original identity card. Self attested photograph should be on the admit card. There should also be another image. There is also no provision for changing the examination centre. 

The stage at which the exam is scheduled. Candidates will have to take the exam in the same. Personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer, ball pen or pencil will be carried by the candidates to the exam center. Any kind of electronic gadget including book, calculator, geometry box, plastic pouch, scale, mobile is prohibited in the examination center.

The examination center will not be responsible for keeping any kind of equipment. Candidates have to make their own arrangements to keep it. The examination center will not be responsible if any of the candidate's belongings are missing.
