Class 12th student from district anantnag earns 2nd degree black belt in karate
Anantnag Dec 06 :A 17 year old Muneer Ahmad tantry who hails from village hiller of kokernag completes and successfully qualifies 2nd degree black belt in karate at and became inspiration for young youth .
He completed 1st degree black belt in 2020 and worked very hard for this moment. People usually leave this art after black belt and only few cross the lines. He said despite of continuous lockdowns in our nation i remained consistent in my practice and in this journey people taunted me everytime even many relatives too .Muneer also said when ever i got distracted from practice my coach motivated me and made me comeback.
Though He has won various gold medals but least interested in competitions because sports karate and traditional karate are very different.He is known for kata skills in karate . It took him about 8 years to reach here . Failures were a part of journey.(CNI)
