NC asks Govt to Reconsider Moving School Exam Session to March
NC asks Goverment to Reconsider Moving School Exam Session from November to March for this academic session
Says changes during midway of current session will be disadvantageous to students
Srinagar, 13 Aug (KB): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Saturday asked the government to reconsider shifting the school exam session from November to March during the present academic session saying the changes will subject students, who have already prepared for exams, to undue duress.
In a statement issued here to Kashmir Bulletin — KB party’s Provincial Vice President Ahsan Pardesi aaid, welcomed the move but asked the government to implement the changes in the next academic session ( 2023-2024) as the students have already covered most of their syllabus (NC asks govt to reconsider moving school) and prepared themselves for the annual exams to be held in winter.
“It is a good step towards synchronising local academics with the national one(NC asks govt to reconsider moving school). But the modus operandi for shifting the November session of exams to March from the current academic session will impact our students at various levels (NC asks govt to reconsider moving school).
The SED constituted a high-level committee should take cognizance of the student’s grievances before issuing the official order,” he said.
Pardesi implored upon the committee to implement these changes from next academic year. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
