Finance Account Assistant Candidates Protest Continues For 17th Day
SRINAGAR, July 30 : Finance Account Assistant exam candidates who were declared successful continued their sit-in for the 17th day in Jammu and Srinagar.
The candidates have demanded from the government that the list of Finance Account Assistants should not be canceled under any circumstances as if it is done, the three years of hard work of the successful candidates will be wasted.
UNI Urdu Correspondent said that on Saturday, the candidates declared successful in the Finance Accounts Assistant examinations staged protests and dharna outside Srinagar’s Press Colony and Jammu Press Club.
Protesters say that the government canceled the list after rigging in the SI exams, but now there are rumors that the Finance Account Assistant list may also be canceled, against which we are continuously sitting on dharna.
He said that for the last five years he succeeded in the Finance Accounts Assistant exams by putting his blood and sweat, but now it is being said that the list will be canceled which is a great injustice.
According to him, action should be taken against the candidates who did wrong and not cancel the list itself.
The protestors said that there is a need to take strict action against the officers involved in rigging.
He further informed that the list of successful candidates in Finance Account Assistant should not be canceled under any circumstances.
He said that we are not against the investigation but we want the list not to be cancelled.
