In Central and North Kashmir, people took to the streets to protest against the power crisis
Srinagar, April 25 : A large number of women in Maisama, Gao Kadal, Habba Kadal and Gunpat Yar of Srinagar took to the streets to protest against the power crisis.
Traders in Sopore and Baramull in north Kashmir also took to the streets to protest against the unavailability of electricity and warned the administration that if the availability of electricity was not ensured, they would be forced to besiege the Seoul Secretariat.
The correspondent said that the power crisis in Kashmir Valley has taken a serious turn and now people have no access to electricity even for half an hour due to which a wave of grief and anger has spread among the people.
