All the staff members and Students of BUPS Chowgam took out rally

"Plastic Free Shopian"
The rally took off from the premises of the school and covered the famous Mughal Road from Circuit House to Village Chowgam. The students raised slogans " Say no to plastics" Go Green, plastic is obscene etc.
The DIET team also joined the rally including I/C DIET principal Mr. Parveeez Sajad, Sr. Lecturer Mr. Bilawar Ahmad Zargar, Sr. Lect. Mohd. Iqbal, Sr. Lect . Abdul Ghani . Speaking on the occasion , I/c DIET principal Mr. Parveeez Sajad & Sr. Lect. Bilawar Ahmad Zarfar said that the plastic is a threat to the coming generations.
During the rally the teaching officials along with students asked the people not to use plastic and made them not to use polythene bags in their homes. The students displayed banners and placards emphasising on the need for a collective endeavour to eradicate the plastic bags usage in the shopian District.
