Nearly 12,000 PDD Employees likely to be regularized in Jammu Kashmir

The Jammu Kashmir administration has accorded approval to the Recruitment Rules by the Corporations of Power Development Department for regularization.

The services of work charged PDL/TDL used to be regularized against the posts of Class-IV in the Power Development Department as per the provisions provided in the Jammu Kashmir Power Development Department (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 1981.

Officials confirmed that the Department of Law, Justice and parliamentary affairs has vetted the Jammu Kashmir Power Development Department (Subordinate) Service recruitment rules 1981 read with S.O 109 dated 20-03-2020.

With the approval of these rules, it will affect positively regularization/ future progression of around 12000 employees.

There will also be a complete ban on the engagement of CSLWs and adoption of the method of recruitment vide SRO – 404 of 2018.
