Government Employees will now receive a 31 % DA, similar to the state's IAS officers. This will help roughly 2.25 lakh state employees. On Himachal Purna Statehood Day, January 25, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced this.

Employees in the Central government departments are waiting for the Pay Commission's report and a raise in pay. The salary of government employees is set to rise once again. The Dearness Allowance (DA) has been increased by 3% by the government. The state government of Himachal Pradesh has increased the dearness allowance by 3%. Government employees will now receive a 3% increase in dearness allowance, or DA. 


Government Employees of Himachal Pradesh To Receive 3% DA Hike


Government employees in Himachal Pradesh will receive a 3% increase in dearness allowance. Jai Ram Thakur, the state chief minister, has announced a 31% dearness allowance. Employees formerly received a 28% dearness allowance. 

Employees would receive a 3% increase in dearness allowance, according to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. The state exchequer will face an additional burden of Rs 500 crore as a result of this.

Apart from that, the state government has raised the yearly income limit from Rs 35,000 to Rs 50,000, allowing more people to benefit from welfare and pension systems.

Government employees in Himachal Pradesh will receive a 3% increase in dearness allowance. Jai Ram Thakur, the state chief minister, has announced a 31% dearness allowance. Employees formerly received a 28% dearness allowance.

Employees To Get Additional 3% DA Along With February 2022 Salary
This 3% additional DA will be paid in cash along with the February 2022 salary in the month of March, according to the department. 

Tax arrears will be deposited in the employees' GPF accounts from July 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022. Interest will start accruing on March 1, 2022. 


Retired Employees To Get DA Arrears From July 1, 2021 to March 22


Employees who have retired in the meantime, closed their GPF accounts, or are covered by the contributory pension system will be paid DA arrears in cash from July 1, 2021 to March 20, 2022, along with their February income. Additional Chief Secretary Finance Prabodh Saxena has issued directions in this regard.

In addition, employees will now receive a 31% DA, similar to that of the state's IAS officers. This will help roughly 2.25 lakh state employees. 

Dearness Allowance with a fraction of more than 50 paise will be paid in the next higher rupee, but fractions of less than 50 paise would be ignored.

Lakhs of Government Employees & Retirees will be Benefitted
Let us inform you that this was announced by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Himachal Purna Statehood Day, January 25.

Simultaneously, Dr. Mamraj Pundir, the State General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Teachers Federation, thanked Chief Minister Jai Ram and the State Government for increasing the DA from 28% to 31% on behalf of the Himachal government. 

This is the outcome of Dr. Mamraj Pundir's meeting with the Chief Minister on January 23rd. This benefit is now available to lakhs of state employees and retirees.
