NEET Exam Amid Tight Security 800 Students Remained Absent
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to various courses including MBBS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS in medical colleges was conducted in the city today. After a long time, the offline examination was conducted amidst tight security arrangements.
The responsibility of the examination was given to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The examination was conducted following the Kovid protocol in 31 centers set up in the city. The exam was held between 2 pm to 5 pm.
In the evening after the examination was abandoned in the midst of rain, due to the digging of roads and spread of material in many areas, there was also a situation of jam.
Similar situation was observed in Baldevbagh, Sadar, Ranjhi area. In the examination, 12 thousand candidates were to appear in the district, in which 11200 candidates appeared. 800 candidates did not appear for the examination due to some reasons.
N-95 masks given to students for protection
NTA gave its own and N-95 masks to protect students from corona infection. Wearing it only, he was allowed to enter the examination hall. Tight security arrangements were also made for the exam.
After checking the temperature of the students with thermal scanners, sanitizing, matching photo ID etc., the admission was given. Observers were also deployed by the administration for the examination.

Candidates were already instructed that it is strictly forbidden to bring full sleeved clothes, high heel sandals, plastic pouch, calculator, wrist watch, paper, scale, writing pad, pen drive, mobile etc. The students who were keeping the material were taken off from them.
Only a bottle of water, essential photographs, a photo identity card, Divyang certificate, 50 ml hand sanitizer bottle were allowed inside the examination centre.
