Polytechnic students protest against ‘’ out of course ” paper
Srinagar, Aug 28 :
The students of Polytechnic colleges across Kashmir today staged a protest demanding re-examination and online examination for their Papers.
Scores of such students appeared in the Press Enclave and said that their examinations for the 6th semester Electrical branch of their Programmable Logic Controllers and Micro-controllers paper but it was out of course.
We had to return blank paper as we couldn't attempt any question asked in the exam," the students said.
The students who appeared in the paper said that all the questions in the paper were out of course.
We protested in the examination room while the authorities there assured us that issue will be raised with the technical board, but we are not sure whether they will take it up or not and so we arrived here to attract the attention of the higher authorities.
We humbly request technical board to look into the matter and save our career ” the protesting students told Media.
Meanwhile, students demanded authorities to hold their remaining papers through online mode.
The pandemic is still on and they cannot put the lives of thousands of students at risk by holding the offline examinations,” the students said.
The students appealed to the authorities in this regard to look into the matter and take measures so that the re-examination of these papers is held at the earliest and through virtual mode keeping in view the pandemic.
