Students Appeal to LG Manoj Sinha to Take up Matter with Higher Authorities
Srinagar , July 06 :
The parents of medical students who are studying in Dhaka and Chitagawonue Universities blamed that the university authorities have risked the career of their wards by postponing the exams for the fourth time since the April month.
While talking to media, the parents of these students said, “date sheets issued by two Bangladesh based universities Dhaka and Chitagawonue have been cancelled four times till date while as other universities have conducted examinations as per routine”.
They added that the delay in exams will cost the academic year of the students and also claimed it will risk their career as well.
“ The approach of Dhaka and Chitagawonue universities has resulted into mental trauma, stress and strain to our wards besides this behaviour of authorities is playing with the career of our youth who under stress may fall prey to such indecent, physical and mental trauma” the aggrieved parents mentioned.
The aggrieved parents have requested LG Manoj Sinha to kindly take up the matter with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for conduct of examination of students from Jammu and Kashmir to ease their mental agonies and trauma.
“ They are living in extreme conditions and under stress in Dhaka and waiting for vacations to return home, which may get delayed if same behaviour of University authorities persists” said Sameer Ahmad, one among the parents.
They also requested Ministry of External Affairs to take up the issue with Embassy of Bangladesh for conduction of Final year MBBS examinations which have been postponed four times till since April 2021.
