The Central government has also clarified that the last three installments will also come along with the salary at the end of September.

There is a piece of good news for the Central government employees who have been eagerly waiting for their Dearness Allowance (DA) for a long time. 

The central government is likely to restore the 7th pay commission benefits for the government Central government employees in September 2021. 

About 52 lakh Central employees and 60 lakh Central government pensioners of the country will be getting their Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) soon.

The Central government has also clarified that the last three installments will also come along with the salary at the end of September. So, if you are a Central government employee, let's calculate how much your salary will increase in the month of September.

This is how DA will be calculated

Central employees will get a big increase in the salary of September. You should know the basic salary to calculate how much your salary will be increased after this announcement. Also, you can see your current DA. Right now, it is 17% which will go up to 28% after DA restoration. 

The Monthly DA of central employees will increase by 11%. In this way, DA will increase to 11% of basic pay from July 1, 2021. The same formula will be applicable in the calculation of DR also.

How much will you get now ? 

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, National Council of JCM, restoration of Dearness Allowance (DA) of Central government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners will take some time but their salaries will be increased for sure. 

The DA arrears of Class 1 officers will range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. He also said that if the level-13 i.e. 7th CPC basic pay scale is calculated from Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900 or level-14, then the DA arrears of a central government employee will range from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.
