Private Schools Association appeals to parents to pay outstanding school fees
Srinagar, April 17 :
Schools facing financial crisis cannot run online classes for free
The Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools Association Kashmir today appealed to parents whose children are studying in various private educational institutions to pay school fees as most of the schools are on the verge of closure due to financial crisis.
He said that the fee paid by a student is the only source of income of the school and if this income does not come on time then it itself creates a problem of survival for the educational institute.
Classes are still closed in schools but every school is trying its best to compensate for the loss caused by online classes. And for online classes, teachers have to work twice as hard.
When a teacher cannot be paid on time, how can we expect him to teach students ? We know that online classes are no match for physical classes, but we still have no choice but to rely on them.
The association says there is no reduction in school costs, but Sources of income are shrinking, which has led to the closure of schools.
If schools close in the absence of fee collection, it will destabilize the entire education sector.
And all the progress we have made over the last three decades will be lost and the future of millions of children will be in jeopardy, while thousands of teachers will lose their jobs, creating another social problem.
The association said that this is a social issue and the society needs to come forward on this occasion.
Expressing regret over the role of the government in saving the education sector, the association said that it seems that the government has no roadmap in this regard.
