Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has discontinued its Rs 99 prepaid plan. Let me tell you that this plan was available only in select circles.
Airtel’s Rs 99 prepaid plan was initially available only in select circles like MP, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and UP East. After this, the pre-paid scheme was extended to Bihar and Jharkhand, and Odisha.
Let us know that except for a Rs 19 unlimited plan, now the entry-level unlimited plan of the company (Entry Level Unlimited Plan) starts from Rs 129 which was earlier Rs 99.
Prepaid plan of 99 rupees used to get these benefits
Airtel’s prepaid recharge plan of Rs 99 used to have a validity of 18 days.
It used to provide 1GB of data in total, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited local/national calls on all networks.
In this plan, users also got the free facility of Airtel Xstream, Wynk Music, and Zee5 Premium.
These two plans were launched at the beginning of the year 2020
Airtel introduced prepaid plans of Rs 129 and Rs 199 in early 2020.
The plan started in Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra and Goa and UP West, and Uttarakhand before reaching Delhi NCR, Assam, Bihar, and Jharkhand, Mumbai, North East, and Odisha.
Both prepaid plans were later made available across the country.
Benefits of Rs 129 plan
Airtel prepaid recharge of Rs 129 has a validity of 24 days.
This plan offers 1GB of data, 300 SMS per day, and unlimited calling on all networks.
Users also get free access to Airtel Xstream, Wynk Music, and Zee5 Premium.
These features are available with the plan of Rs 199
With Airtel’s Rs 199 plan, users will get 1GB of data every day, unlimited calls, and 100 messages per day. The validity of this plan is 24 days.
Along with this, users will get subscriptions of Hello Tunes, Wynk Music, Airtel Xstream App, and ZEE5 free.
