JKBOSE National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)- Inviting applications from Class (8th) Students
It is notified for information of all candidates that Ministry of Education (MoE), New Delhi
through the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education is going to conduct National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination 2020-21 on 30th January 2021 (Saturday) for students who have appeared in class 8th Annual Examination during the session October- November, 2020 in Kashmir Division/Winter Zones areas of Jammu Division, Ladakh and are going to appear in 8th Annual Examination in March-2021 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
1. The student must be studying in Government Schools.
2. The student must have minimum of 55% marks in class VII (5% relaxation for SC, ST & OBC
students).
3. The overall family income should not exceed 7 1.5 Lakh per annum.
4. The student must continue his/her studies in Government School upto Class 12th.
Scholarship: 1091 scholarships will be awarded and the amount shall be Rs 12000/- per annum per
student i.e. Total amount 48000/- for each selected student from class 9th to 12th.
Examination: NMMS Examination will comprise of two papers viz:-
JKBOSE Application Form for NATIONAL MEANS-CUM-MERIT EXAMINATION FOR THE STUDENTS STUDYING IN CLASS 8TH DURING 2019-20 IN KASHMIR DIVISION, WINTER ZONE AREAS OF JAMMU DIVISION, LADAKH AND DURING 2020-21 IN SUMMER ZONE AREAS OF JAMMU DIVISION
