Rain/Snow between 14th - 16th Nov, main activity from 14th evening to 16th morning, improvement from 16th morning/afternoon, intensity to be maximum over North Kashmir, light to heavy snowfall in plains of Kashmir
An active Western Disturbance is very likely to cause moderate to heavy rain and snow in most parts of Kashmir.
Rain/snow may commence in some parts from 14th morning onward while its main activity will be from 14th evening to 16th morning.
Plains in Kashmir may receive light to heavy snowfall while moderate to heavy snowfall is expected in higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.
Plains in Jammu region may receive light to moderate rainfall on 15th and 16th November. Leh and Kargil may receive light to moderate snowfall from 14th Nov.
Its intensity will be maximum over parts of North Kashmir. Rain and snow will start a little late in South Kashmir parts.
Improvement in weather is expected from 16th morning onward in some parts while it may continue in some other parts till 16th late afternoon.
Temperatures in most parts of the valley will stay below or around 10 degrees Celsius(6 - 11°C below normal, even may dip below 7°C in case it snows early).
