We have not decided anything about extending the summer vacations: Advisor Farooq Khan
SRINAGAR: The government is indecisive about extending summer vacations of schools in Kashmir region and winter division of Jammu Zone.
Advisor to Governor, Farooq Khan said, “As of now we have not decided anything about extending the summer vacations.”
He said, “The decision will be taken only after considering the ground situation.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Meteorological (MeT) department, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said, “The humidity in Kashmir division is likely to rise on July 25, 26 and 27.”
He said, “On July-24, the temperature will likely remain 33-34 degree Celsius in the Valley and on July 25, 26 and 27 there are chances of light to moderate rain due to which humidity is likely to go up.” (RK)
