Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission under NRI sponsored quota for programmes advertised vide Admission Notification no 1 of 2019 DT:4-5-2019
The desiring candidates shall apply online & deposit Rs 500 as application fee through online/offline mode. The candidates who have already applied shall apply again without paying any application fee.
The candidates are required to submit hardcopy of application form complete in all respects alongwith following documents in the office of the Dean Academic Affairs,IUST by or before August 2nd 2019:
1.photocopy of PRC of J&K state
2.photocopy of Alien registration card(Green card)/Non-resident card/Employment card of sponsor
3.photocopy of Passport
4.Bank letter from sponsoring NRI at his place of service mentioning his account number and address
OR
Letter from the bank in j&k state certifying the NRI account in the bank along with the certificate that the sponsor is an account holder in Foreign Bank where from regular transactions are made to his NRI account
5.Undertaking/Declaration by the sponsor as per prescribed formatformat(available on the University website underdownloads tab)
6.The DOB/12th marksmarks/PRC/Provisional character certificate of the applicant.
Note:
I. Faxed/scanned copy of the prescribed format and letter/certificate from the bank shall be accepted subject to the condition that original copy of the same is furnished at the time of admission.
II. An NRI can sponsor only one candidate.However there shall be no restriction on children of NRI.
